Voor Airbus Netherlands B.V. zijn wij op zoek naar een Test Engineer

Position

Test Engineer

• Hours: 40 hours per week (minimum 32 hours on-site)
• Location: Leiden
• Industry: Space / Testing

You will support the testing of Solar Array subsystems and components used in satellite missions. You are responsible for preparing, executing and documenting tests to verify that products meet required quality and performance standards. You will work closely with AIT managers, team leaders and fellow engineers and contribute to the successful execution of large international space programs.

• Prepare and execute functional and qualification tests on Solar Array components and subsystems
• Support verification and validation throughout the development process
• Analyse test results and report findings
• Prepare test documentation and technical reports
• Work with engineering teams to resolve technical issues
• Contribute to continuous improvements in the testing process
• Support multiple space projects simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or similar
• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in a technical or high-tech manufacturing environment
• Experience with CAD software
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Strong communication skills in English
• Proactive and quality-driven mindset
• Experience within the aerospace or space industry is a plus
