Voor Airbus zijn wij op zoek naar een Test Engineer

Test Engineer — Leiden

Hours: 40 hours per week (minimum 32 hours on-site)

Sector: Space industry (testing)

As a Test Engineer you will support the testing of Solar Array subsystems and components used in satellite missions. You will prepare, execute and document tests to verify that products meet required quality and performance standards, working closely with managers, team leaders and fellow engineers to contribute to the successful execution of international space programs.

• Prepare and execute functional and qualification tests on Solar Array components and subsystems
• Support verification and validation throughout the development process
• Analyse test results and report findings
• Prepare test documentation and technical reports
• Work with engineering teams to resolve technical issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
• Support multiple space projects simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or similar
• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in a technical or high‑tech manufacturing environment
• Experience with CAD software
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Strong communication skills in English
• Proactive, analytical and quality‑driven mindset
• Experience within the aerospace or space industry is a plus
