As an IT Value Stream Architect A for the Lead to Cash value stream at Tata Steel Netherlands (TSN), you are responsible for defining, safeguarding, and evolving the end-to-end application and integration architecture that supports the value chain; from first customer interaction to invoicing and payment. Lead to Cash covers the complete process from lead generation and pricing, through order management and fulfillment, to invoicing and cash collection. Within this value stream, you will provide architectural direction across key applications such as CRM and E-commerce platforms, PriceFx, Compass, SAP (Order-to-Cash), Invoicing solutions, and EDI integrations. You will operate within IT Value Stream Architecture team, part of the Applications & Transformation team, which is of the organization Digital Technologies (DT). This organization is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and future-proof digital solutions across Tata Steel Netherlands.

As Value Stream Architect, you:

• Define and maintain the architecture vision, principles, and roadmap for the Lead to Cash value stream.
• Translate business strategy and value stream priorities into robust, scalable solution architectures.
• Design end-to-end application and integration solutions, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Guard architectural consistency and alignment with enterprise standards and IT governance.
• Work closely with Value Stream Owners, Product Owners, application teams, platform teams, and external partners.
• Support Agile/DevOps teams by providing clear architectural guidance and enabling fast, safe delivery of change.

Do you recognize yourself in this? You are an (experienced) architect who combines strategic thinking with hands-on architectural leadership in complex IT landscapes. You feel comfortable operating in a dynamic, Agile environment and are able to balance long-term architectural integrity with short-term delivery needs.

You bring:

• A master’s level education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Technical Business Administration.
• Extensive experience in IT (solution) Architecture (Process & Application) within large, complex organizations.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts, value streams, business capabilities, integration patterns, and IT governance.
• Proven ability to design and govern end-to-end architectures with significant organizational impact.
• Demonstrated experience in applying the ArchiMate modeling language to design, document, and communicate enterprise, value stream, and solution architectures.
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments, preferably aligned with SAFe for Architects.
• The ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence decision-making at senior levels.
